Job Description

The Senior Customer and Partner Solutions Engineer at Google's gTech Ads Enablement team focuses on launching critical products and services across the Google Ads business. This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Support, Product, and Engineering, bringing powerful insights to improve products, customer growth, and overall customer experience. The team collaborates with Support, Product Management, Engineering, and Global Business teams to innovate and simplify Ads products and build productivity tools. Responsibilities include enabling seamless data flow between third-party partners and Google's advertising platforms, resolving technical challenges, managing partner expectations, performing implementation reviews, optimizing client product mix, and providing partner feedback to improve product offerings. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and relationship-building skills to drive significant growth in Google's advertising business.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 6+ years coding experience (Java, C/C++, Python)
  • 6+ years experience with client-side web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP)
  • Technical troubleshooting and partner/customer management experience
Good to have:
  • Master's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Database technology (SQL, NoSQL) and data analysis experience
  • Technical sales or consulting experience
  • Application development and customer-facing product launch experience
  • Experience with internet products and technologies

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
  • 6 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
  • Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 6 years of experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and data analysis.
  • Experience with technical sales or field sales, sales engineering or professional consulting, with business knowledge.
  • Experience developing applications, with a proven track record of building and launching customer facing products.
  • Experience with internet products and technologies.

Our team partners closely with gTech’s Support, Product Management, Engineering and Global Business teams to innovate and simplify our Ads products and build the productivity tools ecosystem for gTech users.

The gTech Ads Third-Party Integrations (3PI) is a team that sits at the intersection of Product, Engineering and Product Partnerships, supporting priorities that matter most to Google’s Ads products. The 3PI team enables well-oiled product integrations with Third-Party Product Partners to grow Google’s advertising business by increasing the value our products can deliver to our customers.

Partner Solutions Engineers drive significant growth in Google's advertising business by forging strong relationships and applying deep technical expertise to enable seamless product integrations with key third-party partners. You'll be at the forefront of these integrations, from initial implementation and ongoing technical management to optimization and strategic migration. Leveraging your broad technical acumen, you'll work on challenges, directly impacting user experiences and shaping the future of Google's advertising products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Enable seamless data flow and functionality between top strategic and high-value third-party product integration partners and Google's advertising platforms. This critical support directly activates Google's strategy to provide high quality and robust solutions for our advertisers and publishers in a way that is privacy-forward, accessible, efficient and measurable
  • Ensure the prompt and proper resolution of any technical challenges faced by our partners.
  • Manage partner expectations and ensure their readiness through collaborative partnerships with Product Managers/Engineers and key stakeholders. Facilitating clear communication regarding product roadmap and feature rollouts is a key priority.
  • Perform implementation reviews, and analyze/optimize client product mix to ensure their success and readiness for the privacy centric future of advertising.
  • Improve product offerings by providing partner feedback to Product Operations, Product Management and Engineering.
