About the Role:

We’re looking for a strategic, data-driven Sr. Director of Global Sales Recruiting to lead our efforts in attracting and hiring top-performing sales talent. This leader will own recruiting strategy and execution for our GTM teams, including Enterprise, Commercial, and SDR roles, and will partner closely with Sales leadership to drive growth in alignment with business goals.

What You'll Do:

  • Leadership & Strategy
    • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing sales recruiting team
    • Design and execute recruiting strategies that meet hiring goals across all sales segments (Enterprise, Mid-Market, SMB, SDR)
    • Partner with Sales, RevOps, and Finance to forecast headcount and plan for scale
    • Champion DEI initiatives within the hiring process
  • Execution & Optimization
    • Own full-cycle recruiting performance across the sales organization
    • Track and improve KPIs including time-to-fill, offer acceptance rate, funnel conversion, and quality-of-hire
    • Drive adoption of recruiting tools, systems, and reporting to enable operational excellence
    • Establish and maintain a high bar for candidate experience at every touchpoint
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Build strong partnerships with senior sales leadership to influence workforce planning and talent strategy
    • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing market insights, pipeline updates, and search strategy
    • Facilitate interview training and calibration to ensure consistency and alignment on role expectations

What We're Looking For:

  • 10+ years of experience in recruiting, with at least 5+ years managing and scaling recruiting teams
  • Proven success hiring high-volume and senior-level sales talent in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Strong data orientation — comfortable using metrics to drive decisions and improve process
  • Executive presence and credibility with senior business leaders
  • Deep understanding of go-to-market talent profiles, especially in SaaS or technology sectors
  • Experience working with ATS (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever) and sourcing platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter

 

Pay Transparency
Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units. The compensation range for this position will depend on where you reside. Motive uses three geographic zones to determine pay range. For this role, the compensation ranges are:

San Francisco, California

$265,000 - $300,000 USD

U.S. metropolitan areas: Los Angeles, San Diego, New York City Area, Seattle, Washington D.C.

$250,000 - $275,000 USD

Other locations in the United States

$230,000 - $250,000 USD
