You will become part of a strong and engaged professional environment, where we work closely together across disciplines. You will also be part of the national Power Systems team, which collaborates across Rambøll's offices in Norway on complex and socially critical energy projects.

In addition, you will be connected to Rambøll's global competence center for transmission, where we collaborate with colleagues across Europe. Here you will have the opportunity to contribute to projects both in Norway and internationally – for example, data center parks and submarine cables – if you wish.

If this sounds exciting to you, this position may be the perfect opportunity for you. Join the Power Systems department as our new Electrical Power Engineer, and help us get closer to a sustainable future.

Your new position

As our new Electrical Power Engineer, you will play a central role in the design and follow-up of high-voltage facilities in regional and transmission networks. You will be part of our Power Systems department, which consists of skilled consultants both locally, nationally, and internationally. We work across borders with, among other things, power line projects, transformer stations, submarine cables, data centers, and renewable energy. With us, you get the opportunity to specialize in what you are passionate about – whether it is design, construction implementation, international collaboration, or technological innovation.

Your primary responsibilities will be:

  • Advising clients on component selection, test requirements, and technical solutions
  • Project implementation in interdisciplinary projects, both large and small
  • Assistance in budgeting and tender work
  • Testing, control, and follow-up during the construction phase – including technical supervision and commissioning

About you

  • You have an education as an electrical engineer (BSc/MSc) or equivalent, and experience in electrical power
  • You have good experience with the design of high-voltage installations – regional grid or transmission grid
  • You have good written and oral communication skills in both Norwegian and English
  • You are professionally engaged, structured, and communicate well with customers, colleagues, and partners

What we offer you

  • We invest in you and your development – with good course and certification opportunities
  • We have leaders who follow clear leadership principles and give you support and trust
  • Inspiring colleagues and projects – both local and global
  • A company with sustainability at the core of everything we do
  • Long-term thinking – Rambøll is foundation-owned, and we reinvest in employees and expertise
  • Opportunity to work in international project teams
  • A social and pleasant environment at the office in Kristiansand
  • Active company sports team and varied social activities together with other Rambøll employees
