At NielsenIQ, the Senior Research Executive autonomously contributes to analysis resolving client concerns, acting as a liaison between commercial, quality assurance, operations, engineering, and data science teams. This client-servicing role involves daily interaction with CMI, focusing on innovative methodologies and data optimization to impact business and clients. Candidates should have experience in research and analytics, strong communication skills to translate findings, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with global cross-functional teams, keeping up with digital media measurement trends.

Must Have:
  • Maintain a client service orientation by managing day-to-day administration of client service activities.
  • Work closely with retailers (T&D / FMCG) to get timely data, solve queries, and provide insights.
  • Handle RMS related clients' queries and work closely with the hub team for reports, DB generation, and ad-hoc queries.
  • Acquire knowledge of both RMS solutions through requisite training.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, up-to-date, and insightful client business profiles.
  • Serve as primary contact for ad-hoc analyses and respond to questions on content, basic data, issues, and report generation.
  • Deliver quality services to clients, ensuring timeliness and precision according to business needs and specifications.
  • Be directly accountable for work conducted for nominated clients in terms of analyses, charting, and perform quality checks on all reports.
  • 2 to 4 years’ experience in Tech and Durable/ FMCG / Service / Retail industry.
  • Effective communication skills, strong client focus, and proactiveness.
  • Strong command on Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of research techniques and methodologies.

Gurugram/ Kolkata (preferably – Gurugram)

ABOUT THIS JOB

At Nielsen we autonomously contribute to analysis that resolves specific Client concerns; serves as a liaison between the Commercial team, Quality Assurance, Operations, Engineering, & Data Science teams with regards to Internal and External Client Projects. Data science drives everything we do here at NielsenIQ. Our statistical research is at the forefront of an industry moving at the speed of light. In this role on the Digital Product team, your work on innovative methodologies and data optimization will directly impact our business and our clients. It is a Client servicing role; The FTE will be interacting with the CMI on a day-to-day basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain a client service orientation by managing the day-to-day administration of client service activities.

• Working closely with the retailers – T&D / FMCG – Getting timely data, solving queries, giving insights to the retailer

Client Management: handle RMS related clients' queries

• Working closely with hub team for reports, DB generation & also in case of any adhoc queries

• Technical: acquire knowledge of both RMS solutions by attending requisite training

• Maintain accurate, complete, up-to-date, and insightful client business profiles

• Serve as primary contact to assigned client contacts on ad-hoc analyses and understand and respond to questions on content, basic data,issues/questions, report generation, etc

• Delivering quality services to clients and ensure the services provided to clients are timely and precise according to client business needs and specifications and at the same time meeting the company's quality standards

• Be directly accountable for work conducted for their nominated clients in terms of analyses, charting, etc. and perform quality checks on all reports for alignment to request accuracy and correctness

QUALIFICATIONS

● 2 to 4 years’ experience in Tech and Durable/ FMCG / Service / Retail industry

● Effective communication skills

● Strong Client Focus and Proactiveness

● Strong command on Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

● Working knowledge of research techniques and methodologies

● Plus point: Working knowledge of statistic and multivariate analysis

● Knowledge of T&D/ RMS is a plus
