Job Description

As the Senior Manager, AI Strategy and Transformation, People and Places, you will drive the execution of our AI strategy across the People & Places organization, aligning it with broader enterprise initiatives. This role involves coordinating cross-functional workstreams, managing governance processes, and operationalizing frameworks for responsible and effective AI adoption. You will scale early momentum, ensure ethical implementation, and deliver measurable impact through AI across people systems and practices, reporting to the Senior Director, People Insights & Solutions Design.

  • Certification in program management methodologies.
  • Experience working with AI transformation initiatives at the enterprise level.
Must Have:
  • Lead coordination of AI-related initiatives across People & Places and connect HR perspective to enterprise level initiatives.
  • Drive execution of the People and Places AI roadmap, including milestone tracking, budget alignment, and KPI monitoring.
  • Own and evolve the PPL AI Decision-Making Framework and Responsible AI Framework.
  • Manage cross-functional governance structures, including steering committee and tiger team activities.
  • Serve as central point of contact for PPL’s engagement with legal, data privacy, trust, and compliance teams on AI topics.
  • Translate technical AI opportunities into clear program plans with business relevance and stakeholder alignment.
  • Develop executive-ready communications and reporting to track ROI, adoption, and organizational readiness.
  • 10+ years of program or portfolio management experience, ideally in enterprise transformation or technology enablement.
  • Experience in an HR or people-focused function, especially in tech or innovation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders in matrixed environments.
  • Strong familiarity with AI/GenAI technologies, concepts, and use cases in a HR context.
  • Strong strategic communication skills, including ability to synthesize complex workstreams for executive audiences.
  • Proven track record of delivering multi-phase programs with measurable business impact.

Position Overview

As the Senior Manager, AI Strategy and Transformation, People and Places you will play a pivotal role in driving the execution of our AI strategy across the People & Places organization and aligning it with broader enterprise initiatives. You will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional workstreams, managing governance processes, and operationalizing frameworks for responsible and effective AI adoption. This role is essential in helping us scale early momentum, ensure ethical implementation, and deliver measurable impact through AI across our people systems and practices.

You will report into the Senior Director, People Insights & Solutions Design and will work remotely based in the United States or Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the coordination of AI-related initiatives across People & Places and other connect the HR perspective to enterprise level initiatives
  • Drive execution of the People and Places AI roadmap, including milestone tracking, budget alignment, and KPI monitoring
  • Own and evolve the PPL AI Decision-Making Framework and Responsible AI Framework to guide ethical, scalable implementation
  • Manage cross-functional governance structures, including steering committee and tiger team activities
  • Serve as the central point of contact for PPL’s engagement with legal, data privacy, trust, and compliance teams on AI topics
  • Translate technical AI opportunities into clear program plans with business relevance and stakeholder alignment

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $164,600 and $266,200. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
