We are seeking a talented individual to join our MMC Tech at MMC Corporate This role will be based in Pune/Mumbai Location . This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Senior Manager – End to End Testing (Mercer Tech Quality Engineering)
What can you expect?
- 14+ years’ experience in testing and managing end to end project delivery
- Demonstrable experience of working on successful test programs on enterprise scale applications or projects
- Drive Superannuation domain expertise within teams
- Propose strategies to drive adoption of new tools and technology to improve testing efficiency.
- Manage testing software projects from detailed requirement analysis, developing test strategy, planning, test designing, documentation & effective reporting.
- Provide quality metrics to leadership team or in-depth analysis of each release displaying trends and patterns.
- Reviewing the requirements of different Test Phases required ensuring Quality deliverables.
- Excellent management & client handling/communication skills with strong focus on quality of deliverables, Team building, Resource planning, Performance evaluation
- Drive best practices and provide guidance to the stakeholders on Testing Practices.
- Manage personnel effectively, facilitating KPI and OKR discussions, mentoring, and conflict resolution.
- Implements and helps co-create a test approach to deliver the Test Strategy including functional and nonfunctional testing
- Drives out improvements and innovation around tooling, and approaches working on shift left first principles and the Testing pyramid
- Works with stakeholders to ensure a holistic and consistent approach to Quality and ensures cross communication and collaboration on QA best practices, risks and open issues
- Ensure consistency across all teams in line with program strategy/maturity/priorities/global approach - undertaking quality reviews and deep dives to ensure there is a consistent approach
- Input into planning, and subsequent resourcing planning - including skills profiling and identify training requirements for team members
- Provides timely reports with qualitative and quantitative analysis of test coverage, defect trends & leakage enabling key stakeholders (including Squad leaders) for timely course correction

- Strong understanding of end-to-end test engineering best practices, tools, and methodologies.
- Exceptional analytical skills and decisiveness, with the ability to translate strategic priorities into actionable operational plans.
- Experience in testing AI and generative AI business applications, as well as utilizing AI-driven insights for reporting.
- Proficiency in leveraging generative AI within testing tools and reusing AI utilities/components for enhanced testing processes.
- A successful track record of leading end-to-end testing strategies across various platforms, including web, desktop, mobile, and products.
- Strong capability in building strategic stakeholder relationships.
- Experience in capability development, managing teams, and fostering the growth of automation and test engineers within end-to-end testing teams.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues in a cross-functional environment.
What you need to have:
- Proficient in JavaScript and Java for test automation.
- Extensive experience in mobile testing and API test automation.
- Proficient in using Azure DevOps for managing end-to-end test delivery.
- Demonstrated experience with generative AI in testing tools and reusing AI utilities/components for testing.
- Skilled in repository and CI/CD pipeline management with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Expertise in test automation tools, including Appium, WebDriverIO, Sauce Labs, and Selenium.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) for project management and collaboration.
- Strong understanding of automation framework design and implementation, with the ability to integrate multiple test automation solutions for comprehensive end-to-end testing.
