Job description:
Work with business to extract and understand their requirements for new and existing business applications
Assist in the technical investigation for new features and development to business applications
Using analysis concepts, convert business requirements into technical solutions by understanding technical constraints and existing technical architecture/functionality
Prepare user stories derived from the business requirements
Present and refine user stories, into agreed acceptance criteria, with the development team
Work alongside developers to ensure any developments are in line with requirements and are tested to an appropriate level prior to release
Act as main point of contact for the development team with respect to product management and requirements
Assist, where necessary, in the building, delivery and execution of test plans associated with any related developments
Triage and prioritize defects for the team
Ensure a high level of quality documentation is in place to cover both new developments and changes to existing applications
Manage a development team backlog in accordance with product management priorities
Using the team backlog, provide input into sprint and release planning
Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and experience in leading Agile projects.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Proficient in Agile project management tools (e.g. ADO, Confluence).

Stakeholder Collaboration:
Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements in alignment with Agile principles.
Act as a liaison between stakeholders and the development team to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals.
Requirements Management:
Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlogs that reflect business needs.
Ensure that requirements are well-defined, prioritized, and communicated effectively to the development team.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process enhancements and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with teams to implement changes and measure their impact on project outcomes.
Mentorship and Training:
Mentor and support junior business analysts and team members in Agile practices and methodologies.
Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the Agile capabilities of the team.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of business requirements, user stories, and process flows.
Prepare and present reports to stakeholders on project progress, risks, and outcomes.
Quality Assurance:
Collaborate with the QA team to define testing strategies and ensure that deliverables meet acceptance criteria.
Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide support during the implementation phase.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay current with Agile trends, tools, and techniques to enhance team performance and project delivery.
Foster a culture of feedback and learning within the team to drive continuous improvement.
What you need to have:
Min. 5 years of Business Analysis experience.
