In this position you will join the Thales Netherlands IS/IT team. IS/IT is at the core of the Thales digital transformation, there is a close relationship between IS/IT and business.

With a team of 150+ colleagues we provide IS/IT support to our 3500 NL colleagues in several Business Lines and functions. The IS/IT department of Thales Netherlands works closely together with the international IS/IT departments of the Thales group.

For the relatively new Collaboration squad we are looking for an application engineer. This squad is responsible for a broad variety of products and services related to the collaboration. Your new squad is also part of the Collaboration tribe of the whole Thales group. The tribe is responsible for the Collaboration platforms within Thales. 

About the job
Your work as technical application administrator in the Collaboration squad is varied. The day starts with a brief standup, where we discuss the ongoing tasks and how to align them with each other. Both within the department as well the team we work according to the Agile way of working and SCRUM framework. Throughout the week you focus on the sprint that you work on together with your squad. As a domain expert you are able to transform business needs into working solutions. You have a role in implementing and managing the Collaboration products and ensuring that the implementation becomes a success. Preferably you have gained experience in environments where security and standardization are also very important. You can work out solutions and transfer them into releasable products.

Together with your team, you are responsible for the technical support and management of products such as:

• Microsoft Exchange
• Cisco IronPort
• OpenText (ECM)
• Atlassian Confluence
• Microsoft Teams
• VOIP Telephony

About you 
We are looking for a colleague who:

• is able to quickly master new domains and techniques;
• has strong communication skills;
• has experience with the Agile way of working and SCRUM framework or is open-minded to adopt new ways of working;
• has a strong will to continue to develop him or herself, both on a personal and technical level;
• is fluent in English.
• Furthermore, it is preferable that the new colleague has:
• relevant working experience, however: young professionals can also apply!
• experience within a complex enterprise IT environment;
• experience with Enterprise migration projects.

In deze functie kom je terecht in het Thales Nederland IS/IT team. IS/IT vormt de kern van de digitale transformatie van Thales; er bestaat een nauwe relatie tussen IS/IT en het bedrijfsleven.

Voor het relatief nieuwe team Collaboration zijn wij op zoek naar een applicatie beheerder. Dit team is verantwoordelijk voor een breed scala aan producten en diensten gerelateerd aan samenwerken. Je nieuwe team maakt ook deel uit van de Collaboration-tribe van de hele Thales-groep. De tribe is verantwoordelijk voor de samenwerkingsplatformen binnen Thales.

Over de baan
Jouw werk als technisch applicatie beheerder bij het Collaboration team is gevarieerd. De dag begint met een korte stand-up, waar we de lopende taken bespreken en hoe we deze op elkaar kunnen afstemmen. Zowel binnen de afdeling als binnen het team werken wij volgens de Agile way of working en het SCRUM framework. Gedurende de week concentreer je je op de sprint waar je samen met je team aan werkt. Als domeinexpert ben je in staat om bedrijfsbehoeften om te zetten in werkende oplossingen. Je hebt een rol in het implementeren en beheren van de Collaboration producten en zorgt ervoor dat de implementatie een succes wordt. Bij voorkeur heb je ervaring opgedaan in omgevingen waar ook beveiliging en standaardisatie erg belangrijk zijn. Je kunt oplossingen uitwerken en omzetten in producten die we kunnen uitbrengen.
Je bent samen met je team verantwoordelijk voor de technische ondersteuning en het beheer van producten zoals:

• Microsoft Exchange

Wij zoeken een collega die:
