Job Summary
Thales is seeking a Project Manager for its optronics center in Saint-Étienne, France. The role involves functionally leading a project team of about twenty multidisciplinary members. Key responsibilities include ensuring contract execution (costs, deadlines, quality), maintaining client relationships, coordinating internal stakeholders (production, support services, technical teams), and contributing to the sector's revenue, cash, and EBIT. The manager will also be responsible for project reporting.

Your daily life
North of Saint-Etienne, our center of excellence in terrestrial combatant optronics develops and manufactures night vision systems and optical components. A historic center of the Angénieux brand, the site is also specialized in very high-quality optics for the cinema industry.
Within the STC Sector (Terrestrial Cryogenics/Cinema Sector), you will join a team of about ten project managers in the Sector's programs and operations department. You will functionally lead a project team of about twenty multidisciplinary members.
Your mission
- Guarantee the execution of entered contracts/orders (costs, deadlines, quality)
- Ensure a good relationship with the direct Client, any partners, and the end-user
- Coordinate internal stakeholders:
- CCI for equipment production (quantity and deadlines)
- Support services (DFi, DJu&C, DT, DQ, DCom, DAchats, expeditions, etc.) for contract execution, registration, and consolidation
- CCT and sector engineering for any technical specificities
- Directly contribute for your portfolio to the STC Sector's revenue, cash, and EBIT, commensurate with the amounts of your contracts/orders.
- Establish, consolidate, and present project reporting to the sector management and the BL if applicable.
Your profile
A graduate with a Bac+5 (Master's degree equivalent), you have at least 2 years of experience in project management. You have previous experience in a commercial, finance, technical purchasing, or industrial role. You demonstrate rigor and a curious mind. You master project management through planning and costs. You understand and express yourself in English, both written and oral. You have worked in the field of optronics.
