CDD - Assembly Wiring Operator (M/F)

Join the Modems production line at Thales SIXT GTS France's Industrial Competence Center in Cholet. Your primary mission will be to assemble and wire electronic equipment within a production unit of about twenty people, operating in a continuous improvement environment. Key tasks include performing assembly operations for electronic sub-assemblies and equipment, carrying out repairs and rework according to technician instructions, ensuring traceability of operations and reporting non-conformities, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives for the line. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, renewable.

• First successful experience in assembly wiring of electronic equipment in a demanding technical environment
• Proficiency with computer tools and Microsoft Office suite
• Rigorous and organized

Your daily life

Located between Nantes and Angers, close to the Atlantic coast, our Cholet site, predominantly R&D with a strong industrial footprint, specializes in defense radiocommunications, satellite communication systems, and cybersecurity solutions.

Within the Modems production line of the Industrial Competence Center of Thales SIXT GTS France, your essential mission is to assemble and wire electronic equipment. You will join the Modems or encryptors production line as an assembly wiring operator in a production unit of about twenty people. You will evolve in a continuous improvement environment.

Your main missions consist of:

• Performing assembly operations for sub-assemblies and electronic equipment according to established standards;
• Performing rework/repair operations on materials according to technician instructions and ensuring assembly expertise operations;
• Verifying the traceability of operations and reporting non-conformity data;
• Participating in continuous improvement projects for the line.

Position available as a 6-month fixed-term contract, renewable.

Your profile

You have a first successful experience in assembly wiring of electronic equipment in a demanding technical environment.

You are comfortable with computer tools and know how to use the Microsoft Office suite.

Ideally, you also have soldering skills.

You are rigorous and organized.
