The Professional Indemnity Claims Advocate will work closely with international professional indemnity clients, providing strategic and technical claims advice. They will guide large clients through complex insurance claims, advocate on behalf of Marsh clients with insurers, and contribute to winning and retaining clients. The role involves demonstrating technical ability and market knowledge, building client relationships, and providing claims intelligence feedback to product development colleagues.

R_311246 – Professional Indemnity Claims Advocate

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Professional Indemnity Claims team at Marsh. This role will be based in London, Bristol, Birmingham or Norwich. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

You will be part of the Professional Indemnity Claims Advocacy Team which is based predominantly in London. The team works closely alongside the Professional Indemnity placement practice. The Professional Indemnity team at Marsh services a significant number of large, global professional services firms including a significant number of top 100 law firms, accountants, surveyors, architects and engineers.   The claims team work closely with the placement practice and provide claims advocacy services on more complex aspects of claims.

We will count on you to:

  • Work closely with international professional indemnity clients, overseas offices and other colleagues in providing strategic, technical and tactical claims advice.
  • Guide the large clients through complex insurance claims under professional indemnity policies.
  • Advocate on behalf of Marsh clients with insurers.
  • Part of the wider team and a valuable contributor to winning and retaining clients through service delivery and results.
  • Demonstrate technical ability, market knowledge and the personality to build relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Provide support to the professional indemnity team through the feedback of claims intelligence to product development colleagues.
  • Support the business in winning and retaining clients.
