Job Description

The Senior Market Analyst will be responsible for running the full production cycle for all Derivatives asset types in AMERS, including preproduction and quality analysis, production, and deliveries. They will gather requirements for Derivatives products, manage the client’s workflow evaluation pricing cycle and support, and manage TRPS Derivatives’ client’s communications. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of financial markets, the ability to independently research and apply complex concepts, and strong problem-solving skills. They must be self-motivated, able to learn quickly, operate under tight time constraints, and have good verbal and written communication skills.

Job Details

Major Responsibilities:

  • Run the full production cycle for all Derivatives asset types in AMERS including preproduction and quality analysis, production and deliveries
  • Gather requirements for Derivatives products in the vanilla asset type (IRS, Swaptions, FX and Equity Options, CDS, TRS, Inflation swaps) and complex products (Dispersion Swaps, Volatility Swaps, Hybrid products, Exotic Structured Notes)
  • Manage the client’s workflow evaluation pricing cycle and support
  • Manage TRPS Derivatives’ client’s communications

Technical /Professional Skills & Competencies:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's and/or master’s degree in Finance. Preferably Quantitative Finance, Mathematical Finance or Financial Engineering.
  • Well rounded knowledge of financial markets
  • Ability to independently research and apply complex concepts in a real-world context.
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to learn quickly and operate under tight time constraints
  • Strong problem solving skills are crucial
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Good verbal & written communication skills
  • Must have the confidence and poise to explain and defend evaluations to customers

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Rates experience using CALYPSO
  • Experience working with vanilla and complex derivatives
  • IRS and Swaptions expertise
  • Experience working with financial libraries and the relevant functions such as PIL, FINCAD, Numerix, R
  • Programing experience in other scripting languages such as C++, JAVA or Python
