Must have:
  • Develop and execute regional and vertical marketing strategies aligned to business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Lead go-to-market planning for new solutions and market entries, ensuring alignment with sales and product teams.
  • Manage and mentor a direct report, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
  • Drive integrated campaigns across digital, content, events, and PR to support awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Localize global brand and messaging frameworks for relevance across African markets.
  • Track, measure, and report on campaign performance and marketing ROI.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to amplify TransUnion’s thought leadership and market presence.
  • 8+ years of B2B marketing experience.
  • Proven experience in regional marketing and vertical-specific campaign execution.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate business goals into actionable marketing plans.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
  • Experience managing teams and working cross-functionally in a matrixed environment.
  • Must be well organized with excellent analytical and negotiating skills, combined with superior oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with varying due dates and requirements.
Good to have:
  • Familiarity with African markets and a passion for driving impact across diverse regions.
  • Preferably in financial services, data/tech, or regulated industries.

Dynamics of the Role

The senior marketing manager has overall duties including developing strategies, analyzing competitor behavior, identifying market trends, and increasing our market share through compelling marketing activities and strong stakeholder relationships. Drives the B2B marketing efforts for key African markets with responsibility for marketing communications strategy development, positioning, and program execution across offline and digital channels. They bring marketing best practice and creative energy to a team that values innovative thinking and uses their skills to drive the business forward.

The marketing and communications team at TransUnion Africa is a strategic B2B growth partner, driving brand relevance, market expansion, and commercial impact across the continent. We lead integrated marketing efforts that support vertical and regional go-to-market strategies, elevate our brand through thought leadership and stakeholder engagement, and deliver measurable value through digital, content, and event experiences. Our focus is on enabling business outcomes, building trust, and positioning TransUnion as a data-driven, solutions-oriented partner across Africa’s dynamic markets.

How You’ll Contribute

As a Senior Marketing Manager, you will own the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies that drive growth across key African regions and industry verticals. You’ll partner closely with sales, product, and our communications teams to craft go-to-market plans, build brand equity, and generate demand for TransUnion’s solutions. You’ll oversee campaign execution across digital, content, events, and stakeholder engagement channels. Your work will directly support revenue goals, elevate our brand, and position TransUnion as a trusted, data-driven partner in markets.
