Job Description
We’re looking for an extraordinarily talented Senior Network Systems Engineer for current and future projects at our growing studio!

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain network and multiplayer features for the Unreal Engine primarily written in C++. 
  • Code network infrastructure for client and host game logic.
  • Code for game platform backed and adjacent online systems (e.g data analytics) 
  • Optimize and debug systems for network bandwidth and reliability
  • Help develop and recommend best practices for systems with multiplayer components.
  • Test, own, operate and support the system and features you develop, including documentation
  • Work closely with designers and other members of the team for further feature development and refinement while provide your technical expertise to inform decisions
     

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in games development with at least one shipped title
  • Expertise in and extensive knowledge of C/C++ programming languages
  • Expert knowledge of relevant Unreal Engine systems and coding practices
  • Strong communication skills while being self-directed
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to write reliable, optimized, parsable code

Additional Information

Salary

In the United States, the standard base pay range for this role we have estimated is $100,000.00 - $170,000.00 Annual. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.

Location

Flexibility to work remotely or from the studio or Hybrid

Full-Time with Flexible Hours

Most staff maintain hours around 9a-6p PST. So long as you get the work done and are there for the meetings you are needed in, we trust you to manage your own time however makes sense to you.
