Job Description

The Lead Systems Engineer will be responsible for crafting, building, deploying, and maintaining IT infrastructure using the latest standards and technologies. This role involves managing automation, standards, and policies related to user accounts and permissions, monitoring and resolving issues for all IAM systems, providing top-level support for IAM assets, and administering Active Directory, Microsoft Public Key Infrastructure, and Microsoft Hybrid Exchange environments. The engineer will also be tasked with the setup and administration of email hygiene solutions, while staying aware of industry changes and planning to keep ahead of industry advancements.
Must have:
  • Experience driving direction and enforcing IT standards
  • Proficient with Windows Server
  • Extensive Exchange Server or Exchange Online/Gmail administration experience
  • Setup and administration of email hygiene solutions
  • Expert in Active Directory architecture, permissions, and administration
  • In depth knowledge of SAML and OIDC configuration for authentication
  • Sophisticated knowledge of Microsoft Certificate Authority template creation
  • Experience managing environments focused on automation and scripting
  • Strong ability to learn new technologies
Good to have:
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Entra Connect
  • Experience with infrastructure as code solutions
  • Experience diagnosing logs via SIEM solutions

The Challenge

The Systems Engineering team crafts, builds, deploys and maintains a wide variety of IT infrastructure using the latest standards and technologies.

We are actively looking for a Lead Systems Engineer with a broad range of IAM-related and general purpose IT skills. Our ideal candidate has a rich and diverse technical background, is creative and passionate about IT systems, as well as standardisation, optimisation, and automation. Furthermore, this candidate will have experience architecting, engineering, implementing, and supporting directory/identity-related solutions, single sign-on platforms, and email and collaboration systems.

Candidates are expected to stay aware of industry changes and plan to keep ahead of industry advancements to help guide the use and implementation of technology at Take-Two.
 

What You’ll Take On

  • Manage automation, standards and policies around user accounts and permissions
  • Monitor, test and resolve issues for all IAM systems, and collaborate to drive solutions and implement changes
  • Provide top level support for IAM assets, create and maintain documentation, and participate in rotating on-call schedule
  • Run an Active Directory and Microsoft Public Key Infrastructure environment
  • Administer a Microsoft Hybrid Exchange environment and Google Workspace environment
  • Install and maintain mail transfer agents and email hygiene systems, and find solutions for mail flow issues
     

What You Bring

  • Experience driving direction and enforcing standards for an IT team
  • Proficient with Windows Server, including installing, configuring, and problem solving issues
  • Extensive experience in deployment and management of Exchange Server or Exchange Online, and/or Gmail administration
  • Setup and administration of email hygiene solutions (e.g. Ironport, Proofpoint)
  • Expert with Active Directory architecture, permissions, and administration, and with solving replication, performance, and other related issues
  • In depth knowledge of SAML and OIDC configuration for authentication to applications, and mastery of at least one SSO/identity platform (Okta, OneLogin, Azure, etc.)
  • Sophisticated knowledge of Microsoft Certificate Authority template creation, configuration and deployment
  • Experience managing environments focused on automation and scripting (e.g. Powershell)
  • Strong ability to learn new technologies and dive into unique challenges
  • Excellent written and verbal communication among both technical and non-technical audiences
     

Great to Have

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Entra Connect, and other Azure/Entra technologies
  • Experience with infrastructure as code solutions (e.g., Terraform) and code collaboration solutions (e.g., Github)
  • Experience diagnosing logs via SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk)

This is a hybrid position from our London offices, with in-office required 4 days/week.
