The Senior Organizational Development Advisor at VGW will design and implement OD strategies and programs aligned with company goals. Responsibilities include conducting organizational assessments (employee engagement surveys, 360 feedback), diagnosing challenges, developing and facilitating training workshops (culture change, leadership development, team effectiveness, performance management), collaborating with stakeholders to identify training needs, developing and implementing projects on leadership, culture, and organizational effectiveness, analyzing data to evaluate program impact, and mentoring a direct report. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 5+ years of experience in OD, and experience with change management, leadership development programs, and psychometric testing. Experience in the technology or gaming industry is preferred.

Our People & Culture team in Toronto are currently looking for a Senior Organizational Development Advisor to join the team. 

As an Organizational Development Advisor, you'll be responsible for the design and implementation of organizational development programs that align with company goals and objectives.This position is responsible for conducting organizational assessments, diagnosing challenges, developing and implementing effective OD programs and supporting leadership development. 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Design and implement organizational development strategies and programs that align with company goals and objectives
  • Provide analysis, interpretation, observations, recommendations and action planning based on employee survey results including employee engagement, 360 feedback and other organizational assessments 
  • Develop and facilitate training workshops and programs on topics such as culture change, leadership development, team effectiveness and performance management
  • Collaborate with People Partners and other stakeholders to identify training needs and develop efficient & cost-effective solutions to address them
  • Develop and implement projects on a variety of leadership, culture and organisational effectiveness topics
  • Analyse data and metrics to evaluate the impact of OD programs and interventions on employee performance and retention
  • Directly manage and mentor at least one report, ensuring alignment on goals, tasks, and professional development

What you will bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology or a related discipline
  • Certification in relevant areas such as change management (e.g., Prosci), leadership development, or organizational behaviour preferred 
  • 5+ years of experience as an Organizational Development Specialist or in a similar role, with a track record of successfully implementing OD initiatives
  • Self-sufficient and experience working in the technology, gaming or adjacent industries preferred 
  • Strong understanding of organisational behaviour, change management principles, and adult learning theory
  • Experience designing and facilitating leadership development programs, workshops and team interventions
  • Experience with 360 feedback and psychometric testing preferred
