The Senior People Operations Partner will drive people strategies, enhance employee engagement, and ensure seamless People Operations processes in the UK & Ireland. This role involves providing tactical and operational guidance on people-related matters, partnering with Centres of Excellence, managing the employee lifecycle, analyzing People metrics, supporting performance management, and leading people projects. Responsibilities include overseeing UK & Ireland immigration processes, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, and documenting/refining processes for a best-in-class employee experience. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in People Operations, strong knowledge of UK and Ireland employment laws, and excellent influencing and analytical skills.
Must have:

Job Description Summary:

The Senior People Operations Partner plays a critical role in driving people strategies that support business objectives, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring the seamless delivery of People Operations processes in the UK & Ireland. The role provides substantive support in execution and delivery of the full range of People operations matters. As a trusted advisor to leadership, you will provide tactical and operational guidance on people-related matters while collaborating cross-functionally to optimize the Rocketeer experience across the entire lifecycle.

What you'll be doing:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to our leaders, providing guidance on people-related policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Partner closely with Centres of Excellence (COEs), including Total Rewards, Global People Business Partners, & HRIS, to align and execute People Operations initiatives.

  • Manage employee lifecycle events in coordination with Global People Business Partners and cross-functional partners in Payroll, Benefits, and Ops, and facilitate necessary transactions in Workday, including job changes, global relocation, and offboarding.

  • Leverage business acumen and People Operations insights to influence decision-making. Analyse key People metrics for your region to drive data-informed decision-making and accountability.

  • Provide performance management support, including handling employee relations matters.

  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and foster a high-performance culture.

  • Lead or co-lead large-scale (global) People projects, change management initiatives, and corporate programs.

  • Oversee UK & Ireland immigration processes, ensuring timely and compliant visa and right-to-work documentation, while serving as the primary point of contact for employees and external immigration advisors. Maintain awareness of evolving immigration legislation and ensure internal processes align with these.

  • Work with People Services to document, refine, and enhance processes supporting the employee lifecycle, ensuring a best-in-class employee experience.

  • Support performance management initiatives, including goal setting and annual review cycles, to promote a high-performing teams culture.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local employment legislation, ensuring People policies and practices remain compliant, including handbooks, employment agreements.

What we are looking for:

  • 6+ years of experience as a People Partner or in a related People Operations function.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, international, and matrixed environment.

  • Strong knowledge of UK and Ireland employment laws and regulations.

  • Proven ability to influence leaders and drive people strategies that align with business objectives.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a dynamic environment. Strong project management skills, experience with driving projects with an international scope.

  • Expertise in organizational development, employee relations, and performance management.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
