Description

CloudLinux is a global remote-first company. We are driven by our principles: do the right thing, employees first, we are remote first, and we deliver high-volume, low-cost Linux infrastructure and security products that help companies to increase the efficiency of their operations. Every person on our team supports each other and does what we can to ensure we are all successful.

We're looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join our team and take ownership of our vital WHMCS plugins for Imunify and CloudLinux. Our products are integral to the success of countless web hosting providers, and these plugins are at the heart of their seamless integration.

We seek a professional who is dedicated to their craft, writes code they are proud of, and can hit the ground running. This role demands deep PHP expertise and proven experience in WHMCS plugin development, ready to tackle complex integrations, ensure robust functionality, and provide ongoing support. You'll be instrumental in ensuring our customers can effortlessly leverage our innovative security and server management tools directly within their WHMCS environments, contributing directly to their operational efficiency and success.

As a Senior WHMCS PHP Developer, your core responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the maintenance and continuous improvement of our existing WHMCS plugin infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and optimal performance for our Imunify and CloudLinux integrations, including their crucial connections to external services.
  • Implementing new features and enhancements directly within our WHMCS plugins, with a strong focus on seamless integration with our external API services (e.g., billing system, licensing server, and other 3rd party APIs) and enabling robust communication between WHMCS and various hosting control panels.
  • Addressing technical issues by identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving bugs in a timely and efficient manner across all plugin functionalities and integrations.
  • Ensuring the reliability and quality of our WHMCS plugin code through comprehensive test coverage, including thorough unit testing, particularly for all new and existing API and control panel integrations.
  • Developing and maintaining clear, detailed technical documentation specific to our WHMCS plugins, covering system architecture, codebase, workflows, API integrations, and control panel communication processes. You'll ensure this documentation is regularly updated to reflect changes, serving as a crucial resource for both current and future team members.
