The company is expanding its advertising platform, leveraging Quests for rewarded advertising. The Ads Interfaces team focuses on creating intuitive self-serve advertising experiences for businesses. As a Senior Product Manager, you will define the vision and execute the roadmap for these interfaces, ensuring they are accessible, valuable, and understandable for businesses of all sizes, covering aspects like onboarding, campaign creation, asset management, and reporting, while maintaining Discord's user experience.

As we grow our advertising platform, our Ads Interfaces team is at the forefront of creating intuitive self-serve advertising experiences that empower businesses of all sizes to reach the diverse user base. The most successful businesses on our platform will leverage our self-serve tools to create, manage, and optimize their campaigns with ease.

As the Ad Interfaces PM you will be responsible for ensuring these interfaces deliver value for businesses across all verticals, while maintaining the quality experience users expect. You will define a compelling vision and drive roadmap execution around how we make our advertising interfaces accessible, valuable, and understandable to businesses of all sizes. This will include things like business onboarding, self-serve campaign creation, asset management, reporting, experimentation setup and more.

Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma counties). Relocation assistance may be available.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Guide the product philosophy, vision, and roadmap for our self-serve ad products so we make our advertising partners successful on the platform
  • Lead cross-functional execution with engineering, data science, design, marketing, partnerships, legal, policy to build, test, and launch revenue products that are beneficial for our advertisers & users
  • Clearly communicate roadmaps, priorities, experiments and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences from partner teams to executive levels
  • Together with other product teams, evolve our suite of tools for businesses across game studios, developers, and advertisers
  • Empathize and relate to our users, especially those who are the most active on the platform

What you should have

  • Strong product sense for the advertising interfaces space with deep understanding of how advertisers use self-serve platform offerings
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, excited about finding simple solutions to complex problems, and then executing on them
  • 7+ years experience shipping great software, driving prioritization, making trade-off decisions, and setting timelines
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency and effectiveness working closely with engineers
  • Track record of driving impact via rapid experimentation towards a metric goal for an advertising tech product
  • Strong analytical ability to quickly organize and leverage data (including writing SQL) to make informed product decisions with cross-functional stakeholders

Bonus Points

  • Experience working with self-serve advertising platforms from other companies
  • Experience working with rewarded ads formats and the gaming advertising vertical
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant technical experience

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $248,000 to $279,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include equity, or benefits.
