The Senior Project Manager will join the Creative Production Team in Munich, initially as a sick leave replacement, reporting to the Director of Condé Nast Commercial Creative. This role involves overseeing cross-media marketing campaigns and products, both online and offline, throughout the after-sales process. Key responsibilities include managing external partners and internal departments, building client relationships, optimizing workflows, monitoring project goals, and ensuring timely, high-quality project execution. The role also covers budgeting, cost control, resource management, risk management, and adherence to internal guidelines.
Must have:
  • Oversee cross-media marketing campaigns and products through all after-sales phases.
  • Act as interface between external partners (clients, agencies) and internal departments (Sales, Creative).
  • Build and maintain client relationships, understanding and fulfilling their requirements and expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for systematic client development and workflow implementation.
  • Manage billing lists and maintain the project management dashboard.
  • Improve efficiency and optimize processes, including error analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor project goals, ensuring timely and high-quality project execution.
  • Exchange with performance teams for digital campaign evaluation, including social media.
  • Manage client communication and various productions (YouTube, social media, long-form, still).
  • Handle budgeting, cost control, and resource management for projects.
  • Ensure compliance with project schedules and quality standards.
  • Perform risk management and resolve project challenges.
  • Adhere to internal guidelines: rights, delivery, metadata, plans, contracts, budgets.

We are looking for you as soon as possible as a Senior Project Manager (All genders welcome!) in the Creative Production Team in Munich, initially as a sick leave replacement.

The role reports to the Director of Condé Nast Commercial Creative in Munich.

THESE TASKS AWAIT YOU:

  • Overarching control of individual projects and project streams in cross-media marketing campaigns and products, online and offline, in the after-sales process across all phases.
  • Interface function between external partners (clients, agencies, service providers) and internal departments (e.g., Sales, Creative Team, Directors).
  • Client management: Building and maintaining client relationships to understand and fulfill their requirements and expectations.
  • In close collaboration with internal teams, you ensure systematic and long-term client development and are responsible for introducing corresponding workflows and processes.
  • Responsibility for billing lists and maintenance of the project management dashboard.
  • Efficiency improvement and process optimization, including error analysis and troubleshooting: Continuously review and update workflows, structure and centralize associated instructions and templates.
  • Monitoring adherence to project goals and ensuring timely and high-quality project implementation.
  • Close exchange with internal performance teams for the evaluation of digital campaigns, including social media products.
  • Client communication and management of productions of all forms (YouTube series, social media formats, long formats, still) in cross-media marketing campaigns and in the after-sales process across all phases.
  • Budgeting, cost control, and resource management for projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with schedules and quality standards.
  • Risk management and resolution of emerging challenges.
  • Adherence to internal guidelines (rights clearance, delivery, metadata, production plans, contracts, budgets).

THIS IS WHAT DISTINGUISHES YOU:

  • Completed studies or specialized training in marketing, business administration, communication, producing, or similar.
  • At least 5 years of experience in project or account management and the planning, preparation, and implementation of campaigns in an agency or media company.
  • Confident demeanor in the role as an interface function and in collaboration with B2B clients.
  • Access to an existing network of production companies, freelancers, and creatives to produce state-of-the-art content.
  • Strong customer and solution orientation.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Team player with high social competence, initiative, and sense of responsibility.
  • Very good German and English language skills.
