This role is for an Accountant Specialist at Condé Nast Taiwan, a subsidiary of the global media company Condé Nast. The finance department handles all financial and accounting operations, including preparing financial information, budgets, reports, forecasts, and managing taxation and cash flow. The position specifically focuses on Accounts Payable, involving invoice verification, payment processing, and ledger reconciliation to ensure accurate and timely payments. This is an individual contributor role providing administrative and technical support.
Must have:
  • Prepare, collect, and interpret financial information.
  • Prepare budgets, reports, forecasts, and statutory returns.
  • Conduct financial analyses of proposals, investments, and fund sources.
  • Manage Condé Nast's taxation affairs.
  • Manage cost accounting systems and cash flow.
  • Control treasury and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Perform accounts payable invoice verification, payment authorization, and processing.
  • Reconcile accounts payable ledgers to identify improper charges and validate transactions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payment of amounts due.
  • Provide core/standard administrative or technical support.

Finance conducts the financial and accounting operations of Condé Nast. Areas of responsibility include preparing, collecting and interpreting financial information; preparing budgets, reports, forecasts and statutory returns; conducting financial analyses of proposals, investments and fund sources; managing Condé Nast's taxation affairs; managing cost accounting systems and cash flow; controlling treasury and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This job family also includes positions responsible for accounting administration activities such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit, collections, billing and invoicing.

Accounts Payable is responsible for Condé Nast's debtor accounts. Manages or performs work in some/all of the following areas: accounts payable invoice verification, payment authorization and processing; reconciliation of accounts payable ledgers to identify improper charges, validate transactions, and ensure accurate and timely payment of amounts due.
