Job Description

The Senior QA Engineer role at Wrike involves being a key part of the development team, focusing on ensuring product quality through test scenarios, QA methodologies, and manual testing. The role includes creating test documentation and enhancing automation coverage. The team works in a fast-paced Agile environment with numerous scrum teams and emphasizes speedy feedback and delivery. The candidate will work closely with front-end, back-end, QA, and design colleagues to build Wrike, a leading work management platform. Must have:
  • 2 years of QA experience focusing on web applications testing.
  • Strong understanding of client-server application architecture.
  • In-depth knowledge of QA practices and tools.
  • Understanding of development and defect lifecycles.
  • Upper-intermediate English skills for effective team communication.
Good to have:
  • Experience in CI/CD processes.
  • Willingness to learn QA Automation.
  • Knowledge of GIT.
  • Knowledge and basic experience with OOP.
  • Programming skills (Java, Python or JavaScript).

We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to be an integral part of our development team to ensure product quality.

In this role, you’ll represent the voice of quality and be responsible for creating test scenarios, QA methodologies and perform manual tests to deliver the best product to our clients. You will also have the opportunity to learn automation skills at our Wrike QA automation school designed to keep growing and expanding your scripting skills. 

To be successful, you should enjoy working in a fast paced environment, have web testing experience, passionate about quality with a proactive attitude.

More about Your team

We have a team of over 250 engineers working in cross-functional teams across locations including Prague, Tallinn, Cyprus, and beyond. The Solutions Unit is part of Wrike's Engineering department and is made up of several Scrum teams. In collaboration with colleagues from various roles—such as Front-End, Back-End, QA, and Design—you will work closely to build Wrike, the leading work management platform.

How we work 

We work in a fast paced Agile environment in 30+ scrum teams working on the development and maintenance of our project management platform. Using thousands of automated tests written in modern frameworks that are run on a dynamic infrastructure.

You will achieve your best if you have

  • 2 years of QA experience, with a focus on testing web applications
  • Strong understanding of client-server application architecture
  • In-depth knowledge of QA practices and tools
  • Understanding of development and defect lifecycles
  • Upper-intermediate English skills to communicate effectively within the team

You will stand out with 

  • Experience in CI/CD processes
  • Willingness to learn QA Automation  
  • Knowledge of GIT
  • Knowledge and basic experience with OOP
  • Programming skills (Java, Python or JavaScript)
