Job Description

Wrike is seeking a driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join its Inside Sales team. This role involves being the first point of contact for potential customers, qualifying inbound marketing leads, conducting deep-dive discovery calls to understand needs, and preparing detailed qualification summaries for Account Executives. The SDR will play a critical role in building Wrike’s pipeline, driving brand presence, and setting the stage for long-term customer success, with opportunities for internal promotion.
Good To Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • 1+ years’ experience in Sales Development or a similar B2B and client facing role.
  • Positive and energetic phone presence, with excellent listening and persuasion skills.
  • Experience with sales engagement platforms (e.g., Salesloft, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) and solution-selling.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Personally accountable, highly organized, and empathetic to customer needs.
  • Passion for working with new technologies and a consultative, value-driven sales approach.
  • Experience in work management, project management, or collaboration software sales.
Must Have:
  • Promptly follow up and qualify inbound marketing leads across target ICPs and key industry segments.
  • Engage in deep-dive discovery calls to understand prospect needs, challenges, and buying signals.
  • Prepare detailed qualification summaries for Account Executives and account managers.
  • Accurately and consistently update CRM (Salesforce) with prospect data, call notes, and meeting outcomes.
  • Track and analyze activity and performance metrics, identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and fellow SDRs to refine messaging and improve conversion rates.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor landscape, and Wrike’s evolving offerings.
  • Support marketing efforts by following up on inbound leads and routing qualified opportunities.
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and excel in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Full fluency in English, Italian and French.
  • Ability to support Eastern Standard Time (EST) working hours (8 AM to 5 PM EST).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand customer pain points and present Wrike as a solution.
  • Experience with CRM and opportunity management systems (preferably Salesforce).

About the Role:

We are looking for a driven and passionate Sales Development Representative to join our Inside sales team at Wrike. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Wrike, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential customers, establishing relationships and identifying needs to determine qualified sales opportunities. You’ll play a critical role in building Wrike’s pipeline, driving our brand presence, and setting the stage for long-term customer success. Our SDRs are considered sellers in waiting, and we love to promote from within.

Your Impact:

  • Promptly follow up and qualify inbound marketing leads across target ICPs (Ideal Customer Profiles) and key industry segments.
  • Engage in deep-dive discovery calls to understand prospect needs, challenges, and buying signals, and determine fit with Wrike’s solutions.
  • Prepare detailed qualification summaries for Account Executives and account managers, including key contact information, company background, and potential deal size.
  • Accurately and consistently update CRM (Salesforce) with prospect data, call notes, and meeting outcomes.
  • Track and analyze your activity and performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and share insights with management.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and fellow SDRs to refine messaging, improve conversion rates, and maximize pipeline growth.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor landscape, and Wrike’s evolving offerings to effectively engage and qualify prospects.
  • Support marketing efforts by following up on inbound leads and inquiries, and route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Account Executives for further development and closure.
