Job Summary

The Renewals Specialist drives the renewal lifecycle for Enterprise and Commercial customers, ensuring timely renewals and growth of the existing customer base. This high-velocity role involves collaborating with Customer Success, Sales, Finance, Legal, and Business Systems to maintain accurate contracts and provide a positive customer experience. Responsibilities include serving as a subject matter expert, strategizing on complex renewals, preparing detailed order forms, overseeing contract execution, and maintaining data quality in Salesforce.

Must Have

  • 2+ years of experience in Customer Success or Customer Operations environment
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on renewals processes and tools
  • Strategize with Account Executives on complex renewal scenarios
  • Ensure customers are on up-to-date terms and conditions
  • Prepare detailed order forms and quotes
  • Oversee all assigned contract renewals and communicate with customers
  • Explain the renewal process, timing, and expectations
  • Maintain data quality of accounts and opportunities in Salesforce
  • Resolve past due invoices by communicating with customers and working with Finance/Customer Success
  • Create, update, or innovate new functional processes, playbooks and supporting materials

The Renewals Specialist is at the hub of the renewal lifecycle for our Enterprise and Commercial customers <$20k. They are responsible for driving successful renewals on time and growing our existing customer base. This position is a high velocity role working closely with partners in Customer Success, Sales, Finance, Legal and Business systems to ensure our contracts are accurate, renewals are processed on time and that our customers have a positive experience renewing their subscriptions.

Shift Timing - 6:30 PM - 4:30 AM IST

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on our renewals processes and tools, and apply critical thinking to solve challenging business problems
  • Strategize with Account Executives on complex renewal scenarios
  • Work to ensure our customers are on the most up to date terms and conditions
  • Prepare detailed order forms and quotes based on your expert knowledge of our products, pricing and terms
  • Oversee all assigned contract renewals, which includes proactively communicating with customers who are not on auto-renew to ensure timely and accurate execution
  • Be able to explain the renewal process, timing, and expectations.
  • Maintain data quality of accounts and opportunities in Salesforce, including identification and processing of overages, updating customer contact information and license provisioning
  • Resolve past due invoices by communicating with customers on outstanding balances, working with Finance and Customer Success on anticipated payments
  • Create, update, or innovate new functional processes, playbooks and supporting materials to drive process efficiencies

You will achieve your best if you have

  • 2+ years of experience working in a Customer Success or Customer Operations environment. SaaS company preferred
  • Comfortable working independently, and with high‐volumes of overlapping activities in multiple tools
  • Excellent problem-solving skills including ability to analyze account history and connect historical account activities
  • Sound critical thinking skills and understanding of subscription based renewals including knowledge of subscription terms, account consolidation and proration
  • Process oriented mindset, using documented procedures and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency
  • Experience using a wide range of business programs; direct experience with Salesforce a plus
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, complete activities, and meet deadlines on a daily basis
  • A team player and great collaborator, able to build positive relationships with peers and others within Wrike
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate ideas, updates, or issues to peers and leaders
