Team, about the role
Testing teams play an important role at our company, contributing significantly to the success and advancement of our games over the past twenty years. Our players consistently recognize and appreciate the exceptional quality of our games. Each QA makes a unique contribution to the company's results, and our current focus is on autotesting.
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join the Technology Team. This team is in charge of developing and enhancing Playrix's technical product, a Unity-like game engine and editor that powers some of the world's most successful mobile games.
Tasks

Providing quality control and testing game engine and SDK features at all stages of SDLC

Helping to automate the testing process, namely through writing and supporting autotests in Python

Working on technically complex R&D tasks
- Working as part of a cross-functional team and collaborating with programmers, producers, the Engineering Manager, etc.

- We manage tasks and defects in Asana and store manual tests in Qase and automatic tests in GitHub
Requirements

Confident knowledge of testing theory and the ability to apply it in practice

Experience in automation in Python or another programming languages (C++, C#, Java, TS, JS)

Ability to take a feature through its entire life cycle, from collecting and analyzing requirements to release

Experience in testing on various platforms (PC, mobile devices, emulators)

2+ years of experience in testing the interaction of applications with mobile or embedded OS

Knowledge of network traffic analysis tools (Charles/Fiddler, Proxyman)
- Experience with DevTools (TeamCity, Jenkins, Git, TMS, etc.)
Preferred

Experience in testing game engines (Unity, Unreal Engine)
- Experience working with device farms for testing mobile applications (BrowserStack, AWS Device Farm)
