Responsibilities include optimizing platform performance, troubleshooting complex issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, delivering high-quality code, maintaining Confluence documentation, and managing Jira tasks. The ideal candidate will have robust experience with Ruby on Rails (RoR) and be comfortable using Jira and Confluence. Experience supporting and improving legacy systems is highly desirable. Requirements:

- Strong knowledge of backend development principles and relational databases.
- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote/distributed team environment.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting and improving legacy systems is highly desirable.
