Backend Software Engineer

Outfit7 is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to develop features and modules for their popular mobile games and backend services. This role involves hands-on access to high-scale, real-time systems, processing data from millions of users, and continuously improving services to deliver top-quality gaming experiences. The ideal candidate will contribute to designing and optimizing backend functionalities, collaborating with other departments, and constantly learning new technologies to enhance Outfit7's gaming platforms.

Must Have

• Design and develop backend functionalities for Outfit7 games and platforms.
• Build and optimize services that process high volumes of requests.
• Cooperate closely with other departments in the company.
• Work independently and efficiently as part of a team of backend developers.
• Constantly learn about and try out new technologies.
• Excellent programming skills and knowledge of Java.
• Attention to detail, with a pragmatic mindset and approach.
• Positive, make-it-happen, lead-by-example attitude.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• 2+ years of experience in backend development or a similar technical role.
• Experience in building scalable distributed systems or high-throughput APIs.
• Familiarity with good software engineering practices (code reviews, unit testing, CI/CD, etc.)

Good to Have

• Knowledge of Go-lang is a plus.
• Cloud experience (Google Cloud, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker) is a plus.
