Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Specialist for Social Media Campaigns to provide planning and execution support for paid social media campaigns across the London Stock Exchange Group and its subsidiaries. Reporting to the Head of Social Media, this role involves assessing, strategizing, and consulting on the best methods for paid social media campaigns in line with strategic objectives. The specialist will manage multiple projects simultaneously in a highly matrixed organization, focusing on detail, tenacity, and results, and will play a critical role in shaping a best-in-class Paid Social strategy for the organization.
Must have:
  • Day to day implementation, analysis, and optimisation of multiple paid social campaigns.
  • Analyse performance data and optimise campaigns to increase return on investment.
  • Develop strategic media and measurement plans across supported media platforms based on collaborators’ objectives and KPI’s.
  • Strategize and offer balanced direction for the best type of social execution tactic based on customer brief.
  • Rework, optimise and improve briefed adverts using knowledge of social media formatting.
  • Understand how to assess metrics and incorporate them efficiently into a campaign strategy.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure maximum cross channel efficiencies.
  • Campaign and regional budget management; planning and forecast of spend.
  • Report on Paid Social campaigns data and create actionable insights for stakeholders, business, and team.
  • Proactively identify engagement opportunities for tactical accounts in region to improve reach and accelerate user engagement.
  • Proactively coordinate with all teams to identify best practices, provide innovative ideas and insights to promote concept of paid social.
  • Full understanding of social media platform functionalities and their respective campaign management interfaces.
  • Significant customer management with excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple active campaign lines and keep on top of ongoing optimisation.
  • Management of multiple large-scale budgets involving multiple business areas and customer requirements.
  • Strong planning and organisation skills.
  • Understanding social-first creative development and methods.
  • Using campaign data insights to advise and refine activities.
  • Paid Social media guidance and training for partners.
  • Shown knowledge of working to a test & learn or A/B test approach.
  • Proficient understanding of customer targeting and segmentation.
  • Experience handling Paid Social ads including (but not limited to) LinkedIn/Meta/Instagram/X/WeChat/Quora/YouTube.

Role Description:

We’re looking for an individual to provide planning and execution support for paid social media campaigns across the London Stock Exchange Group and its subsidiaries.

Reporting into the Head of Social Media, as part of a global centre of excellence that is also responsible for strategic experience, organic publishing, community management and reporting within the Corporate Affairs & Marketing function.

You will work to assess, strategize, and use your expertise to consult on the best method and approach for the paid social media campaigns in line with the division’s strategic objectives,

You will be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a highly matrixed organization with attention to detail, tenacity, and a focus on results, working persistently with cross-organizational teams. You’ll see the size of LSEG, number of partners and the complexity of our products as a great opportunity to play a critical role in an increasingly successful international business by shaping a best-in-class Paid Social strategy for the organisation.

Candidate Profile:

  • Full understanding of social media platform functionalities and their respective campaign management interfaces.
  • Significant customer management with excellent communication and influencing skills.

Key responsibilities:
