The TeleGuidance Planning team enables our autonomous vehicles to incorporate human contextual guidance into the planning algorithms, allowing our vehicles to successfully reason about and navigate complex scenarios by leveraging real-time remote human guidance. TeleGuidance is an integral part of the self-driving stack, dealing with some of the most challenging scenarios by fusing the “human sensor” data in real-time to plan a solution to complete the mission.

We are looking for a motion planning software engineer to join our Planning and Control team. In this role, you will help us develop planner behavior and trajectories in collaboration with remote guidance and write on-vehicle C++ components that integrate human guidance into the execution of our robot. You’ll solve the most complex and challenging edge cases for autonomous systems that are absolutely crucial to enabling our mission.
$242,000 - $349,000 a year
Base Salary Range
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Stock Appreciation Rights. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. The listed range applies only to the base salary. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels we are considering for this position.
