Job Description

The SIOP Forecaster Technician will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage order movement, ensuring optimal allocation based on demand and inventory. This role involves continuously monitoring inventory levels, adjusting production and distribution plans, and tracking orders through engineering processes to meet deadlines. The technician will also develop production schedules, establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for order fulfillment and efficiency, and generate regular performance reports. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related fields, 2 years of experience, bilingual English proficiency, and expertise in data analysis, problem-solving, planning, project management, SIOP, SAP, Microsoft, Outlook, inventory, and MRP.
Must have:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage order movement between sites and distribution centers.
  • Work closely with demand planning and sales teams to understand demand forecasts.
  • Continuously monitor inventory levels and proactively adjust production and distribution plans.
  • Monitor and track orders through drawing and engineering processes, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Identify bottlenecks or potential delays and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with site production control teams to create and manage production schedules.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for order fulfillment, production efficiency, and inventory turnover.
  • Generate regular reports on order status, production schedules, and performance metrics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related fields.
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • 100% Bilingual English.
  • Data Analysis Specialist.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in planning/scheduling or project management.
  • Knowledge of SIOP.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage the movement of orders between sites and distribution centers, ensuring optimal allocation based on demand and inventory levels.

2. Work closely with demand planning and sales teams to understand demand forecasts and ensure adequate supply levels are maintained.

3. Continuously monitor inventory levels and proactively adjust production and distribution plans to balance demand and supply.

4. Monitor and track orders as they progress through the drawing and engineering processes, ensuring compliance with established deadlines.

5. Identify bottlenecks or potential delays and implement corrective actions to keep orders on track for on-time delivery.

6. Collaborate with site production control teams to create and manage production schedules that optimize resource utilization and minimize lead times.

7. Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and analyze order fulfillment, production efficiency, and inventory turnover.

8. Generate regular reports on order status, production schedules, and performance metrics, and present findings to management.
