Join our team as a Software Engineering Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in the Sportsbook Web team, connecting our services with players and shaping the player experience. In addition to leading a dynamic team across various locations and product areas, you'll influence our roadmap and drive innovation in engineering performance. As a mentor and advocate for your team members, you'll foster a collaborative and growth-oriented environment while ensuring the reliability and scalability of our web application.
Lead a team of engineers to deliver business-critical features.
Influence the product roadmap in collaboration with product owners and other stakeholders while building strong lines of communication.
Challenge engineers to build testable, resilient, highly available, scalable, and innovative systems with proper monitoring in place.
Mentor and support the members of your team grow through career management and feedback.
Establish a safe environment with a transparent and collaborative team culture.
Implement and maintain software alongside your team members to enhance the product offering and create a premier player experience.
At least 2 years of experience in managing a software engineering team.
Ability to build high-quality robust systems with an emphasis on client-facing applications.
Strong understanding and experience with the Javascript and Typescript ecosystem.
Significant experience building applications using either React, Angular, Vue, Svelte, or various state management tools.
Experience building scalable Node.js applications and writing testable code, unit, and integration tests; experience creating E2E tests will be considered a plus.
Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines such as Webpack, Vite, Jenkins, Bamboo, Octopus, monitoring tools, and cloud service.
