Job Description

This role at Marvell involves contributing to the development and automation of complex firmware functions. Key responsibilities include gathering requirements, interpreting test specifications to create detailed test plans, designing and building configurations for firmware/software testing, and developing new test libraries within automation frameworks. The position is ideal for individuals passionate about solving problems creatively and eager to learn about firmware, automation, and test development.
Must have:
  • Gathering and synthesizing requirements for complex firmware functions related to test development and automation.
  • Interpreting firmware/protocol/software test specs to create detailed test plans and cases.
  • Designing and building configurations to test firmware/software.
  • Working with automation frameworks and developing new test libraries.
  • Solid design and development experience, ideally while pursuing a degree in CS, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of Storage Area Networks (SAN) and how data storage systems operate.
  • Foundational knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, including boot up, basic commands and system navigation.
  • Familiarity with C/C++ or Python programming; coursework or personal projects are acceptable in Windows or Linux environments.
  • Willingness to learn and apply software testing principles and methodologies.

What You Can Expect
