The Software QA Engineer role involves developing and executing integration and security tests for cybersecurity solutions. Responsibilities include testing components, managing applications in cloud environments, validating network configurations, testing APIs, designing automation frameworks, and documenting defects. The role requires collaboration with developers and product managers to ensure high-quality product delivery and staying updated with the latest industry trends. Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of QA engineering experience.
Must have:
  • Experience in QA engineering with focus on integration and automation
  • Experience working with AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda
  • Understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and security configurations
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI
  • Good knowledge of integration testing principles and methodologies
  • Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks like Selenium or JUnit
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Programming skills in languages like Java or Python
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Role Overview:

Develop, and execute integration tests to ensure seamless interaction between various components of our cybersecurity solutions.
Develop, and execute manual and automated security test plans for our cybersecurity solutions.
Utilize strong AWS knowledge to manage and test applications in cloud environments, ensuring high availability and security.
Apply deep networking skills to validate network configurations, security protocols, and data integrity.
Develop and execute comprehensive API test plans to verify the functionality, reliability, and performance of our API endpoints.
Design and implement robust automation frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution and quality improvements.
Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements, design test plans, and deliver high-quality products.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve testing methodologies.

Minimum of 4+years of experience in QA engineering, with a focus on integration testing and automation.
Proven experience working with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
Good  understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and security configurations.
Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
Good knowledge of integration testing principles and methodologies
Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Good programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced certifications in AWS or networking are a plus.
