Job Description

Trellix is seeking an accomplished sales professional to join the Public Sector team and expand sales efforts within large UK Public Sector accounts. The role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing all sales activities including resource planning and budget review, and coordinating with engineering, support, and inside sales teams. The ideal candidate will excel in a growth environment, uncover new opportunities, and sell products to new and existing customers to achieve quotas, while maintaining knowledge of Trellix products and monitoring competitive activities.
Must Have:
  • Experience and use of MEDDPICC Sales Methodology
  • Professional experience in Public Sector software sales
  • Consultative sales background
  • Intimate knowledge of UK Public Sector customers
  • Experience and credibility selling to the C level
  • High level of ambition
  • Experience closing seven-figure deals & a history of exceeding sales quotas
  • Adjust communication style/language to fit the appropriate audience
  • Assume responsibility for solving customer problems and ensure commitments to customers are met

Role Overview:

Trellix is looking for an accomplished sales professional to join the Public Sector team and expand our sales efforts within large UK Public Sector accounts.

We are looking for someone who excels in an environment of growth and who has demonstrated experience uncovering and reestablishing opportunities within the Public Sector vertical.

Responsible for developing and working towards the sales strategy of large Public Sector accounts. The Account Manager plans and directs all sales activities including resource planning, budget review, contract adherence and working with engineering, support, and inside sales teams.

  • You will establish short and long-term goals with a plan following our corporate goals
  • You will sell products to new and/or current customers in an assigned region to achieve or exceed assigned quota
  • You will contact prospective customers to determine product needs and perform sales presentations to match company's products and identified needs
  • You will prospect and develop business, respond to RFPs, and develop proposals for presentation to customers
  • Coordinate account resources with representatives from marketing, Pre-Sales engineering, and development.
  • Remain knowledgeable of all Trellix products to optimise sales efforts.
  • You will guide sales engineering resources
  • You will think and act on both a tactical and strategic level
  • Maintain sales records and prepare sales reports
  • You will monitor and adjust to competitive activities within the vertical and region and maintain an active pulse on the general business climate

About You:
