Job Description

As a Solution Architect in Autodesk's Technical Advisory team in EMEA, you will design and build solutions to improve customers' business processes. Responsibilities include conducting workshops to understand customer challenges, defining solution architectures, planning implementation, quality assurance, and deployment of complex solutions, and documenting and presenting solutions to stakeholders. You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders and work on multiple projects in parallel. Travel up to 25% of working time may be required.
Must have:
  • 4+ years as a software developer or solution architect
  • Experience in requirements management and solution development
  • Working experience in C#, Python, JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Working experience with Cloud technology
  • Fluency in English and German
Good to have:
  • Experience with Autodesk products and APIs
  • Experience with a PDM or PLM system or BIM
  • Familiar with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS services
  • Familiar with software development processes and testing
  • Familiar with relational, No-SQL and Graph Databases

Position Overview

Then you should join our Solution Design & Innovation Team in Autodesk's Technical Advisory team in EMEA as a Solution Architect.

In this position you will be able to expand and apply your knowledge about Cloud solutions, Autodesk’s Products and Platform Services to design and build solutions that improve our customer's business processes.

We support hybrid or remote hiring and you will report to the Consulting Manager, Professional Services Consulting

Responsibilities

  • Conduct workshops with key stakeholders to understand customers' challenges and gather requirements
  • Define customer specific Solution Architectures that drive desired outcomes
  • Plan implementation, quality assurance and deployment of complex solutions
  • Document and present solutions to key stakeholders
  • Travel up to 25% of your working time

Minimum Qualification

  • Degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent qualifications
  • 4+ years as a software developer or a solution architect
  • Experience in requirements management, application design and solution development
  • Working experience in a programming language such as C#, Python, JavaScript or TypeScript C#, Python and JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Working experience with Cloud technology
  • Fluency in English and German

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Autodesk products, platform services and their APIs
  • Experience with a PDM or PLM system or BIM
  • Familiar with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS services
  • Familiar with software development processes, source code management and testing
  • Familiar with relational, No-SQL and Graph Databases
  • Certifications such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, ITIL, AWS solution architect, Azure solution architect are a plus
