We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in game development and an understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in games. You will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that help our clients meet regulatory standards, improve data privacy, and ensure safe experiences for kids world-wide.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design and Architecture:

  • Design scalable, secure, and compliant game technology solutions based on the k-ID Engine tailored to client needs
  • Develop and maintain architectural templates and documentation
  • Ensure solutions align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements

Technical Leadership:

  • Lead the technical aspects of projects, guiding development teams in implementing compliance-focused features
  • Provide expertise on data privacy, security, and legal standards in game development
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and compliance trends in the gaming industry

Customer Interaction and Support:

  • Engage with clients to understand their compliance challenges and requirements
  • Provide technical consulting and support during the solution implementation phase
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients on compliance best practices
  • Act as a liaison between k-ID and external Systems Integrators that adopt k-ID’s solution

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with the other teams within k-ID, including developers, product managers, and legal expert
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Help build an energetic and collaborative environment to drive innovation and continuous improvement

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect or similar role in the gaming or technology industry
  • Experience with game development technologies, including engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity), and other game platform technologies (Playfab, Epic Online Services, Unity Gaming Services)
  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of youth and teen regulation and data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions and architectures
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to design innovative solutions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Passion for gaming and understanding of the gaming industry's unique challenges
