Wolters Kluwer is seeking a full-time Solution Architect (Presales) with a blend of skill, professionalism, and tenacity. The role involves translating customer requirements into technical proposals and solutions using Tagetik software applications. Responsibilities include providing technical guidance to clients, partners, and prospects, supporting the sales process, and acquiring projects. This involves preparing tender documents, conducting product demonstrations, creating prototypes and presentations, leading client workshops, and outlining implementation solutions. The role also requires staying updated on financial reporting standards (IFRS, HGB) and regulations (ESG, BEPS Pillar II), as well as new software functions. A deep understanding of customer processes is essential to build confidence during the sales cycle. The position may involve travel within the DACH Region and internationally.
Must have:
  • Understand and map business requirements to Tagetik solution
  • Position unique value proposition and engage with prospects/customers
  • Learn fast and improve Office of Finance processes
  • Travel within the DACH Region

  • Deliver lecturing activities
  • Continuous training on reporting standards and software functions
  • Quickly understand customer processes and requirements
  • Possess a postgraduate degree in business administration, commercial informatics, informatics, or comparable qualification
  • Have professional experience as a consultant or controller/accountant
  • Demonstrate good skills in accounting by IFRS
  • Possess experience with common CPM systems in controlling and/or accounting
  • Combine finance knowledge and technical competence
  • Present confidently at management level
  • Have advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel
  • Enjoy working with customers and be interested in CPM
  • Possess excellent English skills (verbal and written)
  • Be German speaking
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
Good to have:
  • First experience in Presales of Corporate Performance Management (CPM) preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in AI driven processes is a plus

We are looking for a full-time Solution Architect (Presales) - (m/f/d) who has the right blend of skill, professionalism and tenacity. Your technical expertise combined with your ability to win pitches and work collaboratively is paramount.

The role is key in translating customer requirements into technical proposals and eventually solutions by leveraging the Tagetik software applications.

The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Understand and map business requirements to the Tagetik solution,

  • Position our unique value proposition and engage with our prospects and customers all the way.

  • Learn fast and be motivated to improve processes in the Office of Finance.

  • Travel within the DACH Region

 

Your tasks

  • The field of activity includes above all, providing technical guidance to clients, interested parties and partners in the use of the CCH Tagetik software solution. This comprises mainly corresponding technical support in the sales process.

  • Within the scope of the sales process for new and existing clients, the Solution Architect is the partner of the Account Manager and the partners on the successful acquisition of projects. The activities include responsibility for tender documents, conducting product demonstrations, creating prototypes and presentations, conducting client presentations and workshops, and outlining solutions for implementing client requirements.

  • The task area also includes support at events (internal and external events), the creation of corresponding specialist articles or publications, and lecturing activities.

  • In order to remain up to date with regard to product and process know-how, ongoing further training regarding new or modified financial reporting standards (IFRS, HGB) or regulations as ESG, BEPS Pillar II is just as necessary as learning new functions of the software arising from new program versions, modules or technological changes.

  • Furthermore good and quick understanding of processes from potential customers is a must to be able to deeply understand their requirements and transform into solutions to be discussed with the prospect to gain confidence during the sales process.

 

Your qualifications

  • Either (Post-) graduate degree in business administration, commercial informatics, informatics or a comparable qualification Or Professional experience as consultant or controller/accountant

  • Good skills in accounting by IFRS  

  • Experience with common CPM systems in either controlling and/or accounting

  • Combination of finance knowledge and technical competence

  • First experience in Presales of Corporate Performance Management (CPM) preferred

  • Confident presentation skills at management level

  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel

  • Enjoying work with customers and interested in CPM

  • Excellent English skills (verbal and in writing). German speaking is a must.

  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (presentations, project meetings, etc.)

  • Knowledge and experience in AI driven processes is a plus.
