Job Description

As a SQA Test Engineer, you will be part of the Software Development team, focused on designing, building, and maintaining test systems to ensure the thorough testing of software technology and the delivery of solid products. Your responsibilities will include working within the software development team to verify Software Deliverables for customers, troubleshooting, and replicating customer issues. You will perform release testing, analyze test results, debug failures, and report defects. This role requires a passion for software testing, an inventive spirit, and a competitive drive to break things.
Must have:
  • Experience in testing for Windows based operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Software QA methodologies and defect reporting/tracking systems.
  • Understanding of Windows driver enumeration from the device manager and Windows registry.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft’s HLK Testing Concepts.
  • Experience with debugging driver issues – Windbg, driver verifier.
  • Experience in executing test plans and test cases.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and reporting skills.
  • Strong analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills.
Good to have:
  • Experience in creating, designing and implementing Windows OS test cases.
  • Experience with automation scripts such as PyAutoGUI, AutoIt, and AutoHotkey.
  • Familiarity with Windows Installer and Package Installation.
  • Able to use source code management (git).
  • Familiarity with audio and/or wireless communication standards.
  • Experience working with external customers and 3rd party vendors.
