Must have:

What You'll Bring:

Core Experience & Skills:

  • 5+ years in Financial Services with hands-on Credit Risk responsibilities across adjudication, account management, and collections.
  • Strong programming and data skills: proficient in R/SAA/Python, advanced SQL, and big data tools (Hive, Scala, Spark, Hadoop); cloud platform experience (AWS/GCP) is a plus.
  • Expertise in developing and validating credit risk models (PD, LGD, EAD) and applying statistical, econometric, and quantitative techniques to solve business problems.
  • Proven ability to translate market and economic trends into actionable product ideas and solutions.
  • Experience working with credit bureau data and delivering data-driven consulting solutions.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or related field; Master’s preferred.

Consulting & Project Leadership:

  • Independently leads analytics projects, delivering strategic insights and technical consulting to internal and external clients.
  • Supports model validation and client-specific analysis, contributing to analytics revenue growth.
  • Collaborates across virtual teams and cross-functional groups (e.g., sales, product, legal, compliance, finance, IT) to support product development and strategic initiatives.
  • Manages project plans to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery.

Communication & Collaboration:

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences, including senior management and clients.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement across all organizational levels and business functions.

  • Deep understanding of industry trends and client needs to proactively identify business opportunities.

Impact You'll Make:

The individual in this position will extensively work on credit bureau data and solutions with a focus on model validations and supporting client specific analysis. You will also be working directly with clients to support strategic initiatives on driving analytics revenue and sales. In addition, you will be expected to work effectively across virtual teams, liaise with others in order to facilitate the development and execution of complex projects and initiatives.

The right candidate will have the ability to work independently with no supervision, along with ability to work and deliver quality output within tight timelines. Responsible for providing technical support, which may include providing strategic consulting, in addition to essential services to internal and external customers. Finds value-add opportunities for clients to help maintain and nurture strong revenue base, mutually satisfying business relationships:

  • Supports strategic initiatives and sales colleagues in supporting validations and other analyses to drive client adoption of TU solutions and data
  • Independently manages and supports analytics projects by providing value add through technical skills and consulting
  • Support analytics consultants and wider Solutions team as analytics SME
  • When necessary, will engage with other business units and functional areas to support new product initiatives and development efforts – some of the functional areas may include sales, product, legal, compliance, finance and IT
  • Creates and/or follows detailed project plans to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Collaborates with various teams to assist common and strategic customers. Effectively presents project results in client/user language
  • Understands industry trends and the business at the level needed to proactively identify areas of business opportunities and analytical needs of customers
  • Assures compliance of regulatory and privacy issues during implementation of modeling and analytics projects.
  • Makes formal presentations at meetings, and other official engagements with clients
  • Good with Model documentation and version control and able to perform such tasks
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
