This entry-level Business Implementation Analyst role is ideal for recent college graduates. The position involves analyzing customer business requirements, developing end-to-end processing solutions, and ensuring data integrity. Responsibilities include system design, setup, testing, delivery, and documentation, with a focus on automating processes and identifying efficiencies. The role is hybrid, requiring at least two days a week in the Chicago, Illinois office.
Must have:
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Communicate effectively (both written and verbal) throughout the organization as well as with external customers
  • Strong time and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments effectively
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline
  • Analyze customer business requirements and develop an end-to-end processing solution
  • Ascertain system requirements such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls
  • Analyze data and test results to ensure integrity is maintained throughout program lifecycle and ensure customer business needs are satisfied
  • Collaborate with teams on translating process designs, with adherence to standards, into repeatable system configurations while maintaining required documentation
  • Complete the technical tasks as required by law and internal audit procedures for the company
  • Automate existing and new processes to improve the turn times
  • Participate in identifying and implementing cost reduction opportunities and/or process efficiencies
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot processing issues
Good to have:
  • Experience in the credit reporting, financial services or direct marketing industry is preferred
  • ETL Knowledge- proficient with tools such as Ab Initio and Informatica
  • Experience with open source scheduling utilities such as Airflow, Control M

  • In First 30 days: Analyze data and test results to ensure integrity is maintained throughout program lifecycle and ensure customer business needs are satisfied.
  • In First 90 days: Collaborate with teams on translating process designs, with adherence to standards, into repeatable system configurations while maintaining required documentation.
  • Beyond 90 days: Configure and execute design concepts, code standards and test plans to validate batch fulfillment system setup and output.

Pay Scale Information :

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $51,700.00 - $75,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.

Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
