This Senior Engineer role focuses on Cloud Migration, delivering complete solutions across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Key responsibilities include advising management, guiding junior engineers, and making technical decisions based on best practices. The role aims to deliver scalable reporting solutions, improve Hyperwallet’s reporting infrastructure, modernize systems with cloud-first approaches, and build merchant trust through accurate and timely reporting.   • Delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (design, implementation, testing, delivery and operations), based on definitions from more senior roles.
  • Advises immediate management on project-level issues
  • Guides junior engineers
  • Operates with little day-to-day supervision, making technical decisions based on knowledge of internal conventions and industry best practices
  • Applies knowledge of technical best practices in making decisions

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in software or data engineering, with a focus on reporting, analytics, or large-scale data processing.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational and big data systems (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Hadoop, Hive).
