Job Description

Aristocrat is seeking a Sr. Engineer II - Automation Testing to contribute to the QA standards and practices across their Enterprise Applications. Responsibilities include developing and executing test plans, manual test cases, submitting and tracking product issues, providing project status reports, reproducing issues for development teams, and identifying and documenting bugs. The role requires collaboration with geographically distributed teams, continuous improvement feedback, researching new practices/technologies, and understanding web-based mobile testing and responsive compatibility. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of automation QA experience in an Agile environment, SQL skills, and experience with tools such as Test Complete, ADO, and Fiddler.

Aristocrat, a recognized leader in the gaming entertainment industry, seeks a QA Automation Analyst to become an integral part of our Enterprise Applications delivery team. This role will contribute to the process of defining, coordinating, and promoting the QA Manual and Automation standards and practices across our line of Enterprise Applications, and ensuring the highest quality of delivery and solutions are being provided to our internal customers. You will collaborate and work with peer Automation QA team members located in different time zones, ensuring effective communication and professional development across geographically distributed teams.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute test plans and manual test cases

  • Submit and track any product issues found during testing to ensure that they are resolved

  • Provide input to the daily project status report for each assigned project

  • Reproduce issues when necessary in order to assist software development in issue resolution

  • Provide feedback for continuous test improvement

  • Identify, isolate, and document bugs clearly and concisely

  • Identify, analyze and describe any production related issues

  • Research and suggest new practices and technologies

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, engineering, or another related field.
  • At least 5 years experience working as a Automation QA specialist/Engineer
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Ability to efficiently self-regulate and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to write Basic SQL queries and experience in testing web applications and web APIs
  • Understand of web based Mobile testing and responsive compatibility testing across various platforms (Android/iOS)
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver precise, effective results in a fast-paced work environment
  • QA Methodology - planning and execution experience as well as defect managing experience
  • Version control system (GIT, TFS, etc.) experience is required
  • Experience working with Fiddler or any network sniffer/tracing program (also Postman) will be advantage
  • Experience with Test Complete tool and bug tracking system (ADO preferable)
