Job Description

The Sr. Infrastructure Engineer - ITMOD A at Maersk will build and maintain DevOps frameworks for CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes. Responsibilities include managing container clusters, automating configurations (Terraform & Ansible), scripting (Bash, PowerShell), deploying solutions and updates, monitoring applications, and providing incident and change management support. The role requires strong Linux system internals knowledge, network protocol understanding, and experience with on-premises and cloud infrastructure (Azure).

We are looking for
• 8+ yrs. Experience in building Dev-ops frameworks for CI and CD process in required platform such as Azure devOps.
• Knowledge on containerization and virtualization.
• Hands-on experience on Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge on Linux system internals with good understanding of network protocols.
• Excellent with shell commands.
• Utilized Kubernetes and docker for the runtime environment of the CI/CD system to build, test and deploy.
• Building/Maintaining Docker container clusters managed by Kubernetes Linux, Bash, GIT, Docker, on Azure cloud. Utilized Kubernetes and docker for the runtime environment of the CI/CD system to build, test deploy.
• Experience in using and maintaining configuration automation systems such as Terraform & Ansible.
• Experience in source code management tools and version control systems (Preferably Git).
• Ability to read and write complex Bash and PowerShell scripts to automate system deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Experience in deploying the solutions, patches, updates, and fixes.
• Experience in develop and deploy automation scripts.
• Understanding on On-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Working knowledge on Azure as a cloud service provider.
• Understanding of key Azure services and network components of Azure.
• Monitoring and administrating applications & services running on any infrastructure.
• Knowledge about observability concepts.
• Must understand Incident management and have Incident support experience.
• Must understand the Change Management process and implementation of change.
• Must be a learner and believe in upskilling and take initiatives.


Good to have:

• Coding knowledge in C# and other object oriented languages.

Additional Skills:

 Hands-On Powershell expertise & other well-known scripting languages used in Infrastructure Automation.
 Understanding of DevOps concepts & worked in SCRUM based working environment.
 Active Directory Domain Services experience, PKI & Certificate management.
 Demonstrable IT Infrastructure knowledge across a wide range of technology towers e.g. Windows Server 2019/2022, Windows 10 OS, Hyper-V, Azure, Storage, Network and experience working with incidents in a mission critical environment.
 Windows and Linux Exposure and familiarity.
 Sound working knowledge and experience of 2nd/3rd line, O/S, Infrastructure, Storage and technology platform support.
 Knowledge of Azure HCI is good to have.
 Server Hardware management/administration (Dell Blades, VRTX Chassis -preferable) and support.
 Hands-on experience working with service management tools like service now etc.
