The People Advisor’s responsibilities encompass the implementation of essential HR processes within their specific functional domain. Additionally, the People Advisor serves as an advocate for the company culture, striving to foster a positive and enriching experience for all employees.
Role Responsibilities:
- Operational Focus: The People Advisor is available for employee queries, with creative solutions and sense of urgency; supporting all employee life cycle activities. Onsite support for people systems (including Workday). Coordination of the conversion process (temp to perm). Interviewing with Supervisors and Shift managers who need support Coordinating onboarding and delivering the people element trainings.
- Comunication and Engagement: Support and contribute to people engagement process (including survey's assistance, data analysis and engacement activities). Ensure all company and site communication reaches all Associates using notice boards, TV Screens, start of shift briefs, among others.
- Employee Relations: Supporting managers with standard case work (absence, discipline, grievance, etc.) as well as maintain trackers for casework and driving timely action. Provide support to ER team in ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations while upholding best practices for sustained compliance.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has solid experience in Human Resources and a strong understanding of Peruvian labor laws and HR practices.
- Has worked in logistics, retail, mining, food, or other operational industries with a significant blue-collar workforce.
- Is people-oriented, making decisions that balance employee experience with business needs.
- Has experience in HR data analytics, with intermediate Excel skills; Power BI knowledge is a plus.
- Communicates clearly, works well in teams, and builds strong relationships across all levels.
- Leads through influence, inspiring others without needing a formal leadership title.
- Is solution-focused, always looking for ways to improve processes and deliver quality.
- Thrives in fast-paced, changing environments, and embraces transformation as a change ambassador.
- Has intermediate English proficiency.
- Experience with Workday is a plus.
