We’re hiring a Sr. Marketing Project Manager for an on-site opportunity in Tempe, AZ with a leading financial services client. This 12-month project position will have you managing complex, high-impact marketing initiatives in a global, fast-paced environment. You’ll lead project timelines, stakeholder communications, and Workfront operations—driving strategic alignment, workflow efficiency, and seamless delivery across marketing teams.
Sr. Marketing Project Manager Responsibilities:
Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, stakeholder communications, and Workfront entries.
Identify efficiencies and synergies across related initiatives and cross-functional teams.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all aspects of assigned projects—status, scope, timelines, documentation, and communications.
Schedule and lead meetings, creative reviews, and check-ins with clear agendas, purpose, and actionable recaps.
Closely track deliverables, flag risks, and escalate when needed to keep work on time and in scope.
Maintain consistent, transparent communication with all project contributors and decision-makers.
Ensure Workfront projects are built, maintained, and reported on accurately for tracking and audit purposes.
Stay highly organized and proactive, responding quickly and thoroughly to communications and team needs.
Lead efficient, focused project status meetings, providing updates and next steps across deliverables.
Guide teams through the marketing operating model, helping improve workflows and performance.
Support team cohesion and success by jumping in where needed to move projects forward.
Sr. Marketing Project Manager Qualifications:
Minimum 6 years of experience in marketing project management.
Proven experience in financial services or similarly regulated industries.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex global projects with cross-functional stakeholders.
Skilled in facilitating meetings with senior leadership and large, diverse groups.
Meticulous attention to detail and outstanding organizational capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to distill complexity.
Resourceful and self-sufficient, with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
Familiar with creative deliverables such as social media, websites, branding, paid media, and video.
Proficient in Adobe Workfront or similar project management software.
Comfortable receiving and incorporating feedback to improve project outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or PMP certification.
Previous experience working in a marketing agency or in-house agency setting.
Ability to contribute to and support a positive, high-performance team culture.
