We’re hiring a Community Manager II in Los Angeles, California, for a leading gaming and entertainment company known for its global community and industry-defining IPs. This is a 7–12 month contract opportunity with a hybrid work schedule.
As Community Manager II, you’ll join the Brand and Community team to champion the voice of players and manage strategic engagement across online channels. You’ll play a key role in identifying community trends, developing player-first activations, and executing globally resonant campaigns.

Community Manager II Responsibilities:
Identify key conversations and trends across social platforms that offer opportunities for engagement, support, or promotion of player-created content (e.g. fan art, cosplay, sentiment).
Collaborate with Brand, Creative, Editorial, Influencer, Social, and PR teams to develop globally resonant, player-first activations.
Lead direct, public-facing communications with players and fans across the company’s various IPs (games, music, entertainment).
Partner with international community teams to surface local insights to a global audience and escalate regional issues to internal stakeholders.
Execute custom community activations and manage campaigns from kickoff through execution.
Community Manager II Qualifications:
3+ years of experience managing online gaming communities, including social media, influencer engagement, and digital marketing.
Deep knowledge of community management best practices and communication strategies.
Ability to analyze social/sentiment metrics and deliver concise reporting to executive stakeholders.
Proven project management experience and campaign execution.
Experience developing tailored community activations and working across international markets.
Strong collaboration experience with in-house and agency creative teams.
Familiarity with gaming culture and the company’s major IPs.
