Job Description

Accountants support our general ledger accounting team and contribute to critical aspects of the financial statement close. They are required to have a strong accounting foundation and attention to detail. You enjoy learning and are open to new ways of doing things. You are not afraid to be yourself, experiment, make mistakes and learn from them, ask questions, or voice your concerns. When communicating you are self-aware, insightful, and proactive.
Must have:
  • Performing month-end closing procedures including journal entries and GL account reconciliations.
  • Preparation and review of fixed assets and prepaid expenses.
  • Assisting with new system implementations and integration of acquired companies.
  • Assisting with financial statement audits and accounting projects.
  • Conducting ad hoc financial/operational analysis as required.
Good to have:
  • Some public accounting experience preferred
  • Master’s degree in accounting preferred

What you’ll do:

  • Performing month-end closing procedures including the preparation of journal entries, maintenance of sub-ledgers and GL account reconciliations
  • Preparation and review of fixed assets and prepaid expenses
  • Assisting with the implementation of new systems and integration of acquired companies
  • Assisting with financial statement audits and accounting projects
  • Conducting ad hoc financial/operational analysis as required

Experience you’ll bring:

  • Strong understanding of US GAAP
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), analytic abilities and time management
  • Some public accounting experience preferred
  • Master’s degree in accounting preferred

Requirements:

  • Requires a minimum of 2 years of related or equivalent experience; a Bachelor’s degree, or an advanced degree without experience.
  • This is a remote role; however, applicants located within 45 miles of our Draper, UT, or Westlake/Dallas, TX offices should expect to work on-site Tuesday through Thursday, with remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays. This approach enables more effective collaboration, quicker decision-making, and a stronger culture, while still providing flexibility.

Physical Requirements:

This role is primarily performed in an office or home office setting and involves standard computer-based work.

Pay Transparency:

The US base salary range for this role is $56,600- $78,600 USD. Actual compensation will depend on location, skills, experience, and other factors. Additional benefits and bonuses may apply.
