Business Development Representatives (BDRs) at Pluralsight are integral to the sales organization, driving growth by generating new pipeline. BDRs receive active mentorship to advance their careers in sales or other business units, gaining essential skills and discipline. Must have:
  • Partner with sales reps to strategically determine messaging, persona targets, and account strategy.
  • Research target accounts, identifying key players and crafting targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to stimulate opportunities.
  • Develop and nurture accounts and contacts through outbound calls, social messaging, emails, events, and other mediums.
  • Build sales-ready opportunities and transferring those leads to Sales Representatives.
  • Handle sales pipeline through qualification to discovery and preparing reports and forecasts on activities and results using Salesforce.com.
  • Achieve and exceeding monthly quotas of qualified appointments and pipeline generated.
  • High-level communication, writing, and time management skills.
  • Can collaborate effectively and is a great teammate.
  • Resilient in problem solving and maintaining a strong attitude.
  • Shows resourcefulness and demonstrates the ability to work well under pressure.

Business Development Representatives (“BDRs”) at Pluralsight are part of the sales organization. BDRs fuel the growth of Pluralsight by generating new pipeline for the business. Our BDRs are actively mentored and developed to advance their career and skillsets into sales or other business units within Pluralsight. BDRs gain the skills, knowledge, and discipline to succeed, both at Pluralsight and in other professional and personal endeavors. As a team, we cherish a culture of collaboration and competition. What you’ll do:

As a BDR team, our focus is new business opportunities. We master communicating Pluralsight’s platform by aligning our solutions with the business objectives of our customers. Successful BDRs build close partnerships with sales and marketing to optimize engagement with tech leaders. Our top performers master the following skills and traits:

  • Hybrid Work Model: This role follows a hybrid schedule, with on-site work at our Dublin, Ireland office Tuesday through Thursday and remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays. This approach helps us collaborate more effectively, make decisions more quickly, and build a stronger culture, while still providing flexibility.
