As a Sustainability CMF Designer at Logitech's Creative and Design team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of sustainable product design. You will collaborate closely with the Design for Sustainability (DFS) team, the 'Go Green' Team, and the design team to explore and implement innovative and responsible CMF solutions. Responsibilities include conducting in-depth research and experimentation with sustainable materials, exploring their properties, availability, and potential applications in Logitech products. Develop innovative CMF strategies that align with our sustainability goals, incorporating sustainable materials, finishes, and processes into product designs. Curate sustainable materials that evoke emotion, enhance product experience, and contribute to a positive environmental impact. Work closely with cross-functional teams to share your expertise in sustainable CMF design and foster a culture of innovation and sustainability.

As a Sustainability CMF Designer at Logitech's Creative and Design team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of sustainable product design. Based in Cork, Ireland, you will collaborate closely with the Design for Sustainability (DFS) team, the 'Go Green' Team, and the design team to explore and implement innovative and responsible CMF solutions.

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:

  • CMF Expertise: Proven experience in CMF design (5+ years), with a strong understanding of materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes.
  • Sustainability Passion: A deep commitment to sustainable design and a desire to contribute to a more environmentally responsible future.
  • Material Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of sustainable materials, including their properties, sourcing, and processing.
  • Creativity and Innovation: A creative mindset and ability to generate innovative CMF solutions that balance aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability.
  • Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Industrial Design, Material Science, or a related design field.
  • A portfolio showcasing successful sustainability projects in CMF design.
  • Experience in the consumer electronics or related industries.
  • Knowledge of sustainable manufacturing processes and certifications.
  • Experience in conducting life cycle assessments and environmental impact assessments.
