Job Description

As a Strategic Partner Manager at YouTube's Content Partnerships team, you'll build lasting relationships with YouTube creators, focusing on audience development, content optimization, and business opportunities. You'll analyze channel performance data, provide recommendations, and guide creators on best practices for YouTube business generation (ads, memberships, etc.). Responsibilities include developing individual growth strategies, fostering strong creator relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on workshops and resources. The role requires fluent communication in Italian and English and experience in the video/media industry, ideally with digital personalities and influencers. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply business skills in an entrepreneurial environment and contribute to a global platform.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Video/media industry experience
  • YouTube creator or partner experience
  • Customer interaction experience
  • Fluent in Italian and English
Good to have:
  • Experience managing customer relationships with digital personalities/influencers
  • Understanding of YouTube's competitive landscape and content creation
  • Knowledge of the YouTube creator ecosystem
  • Strategic planning and execution skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in video, media and entertainment industry.
  • Experience as a YouTube creator or working with partners or creators.
  • Experience in an external facing customer interaction role within customer support, business and relationship development.
  • Ability to communicate in Italian and English fluently in order to interact and manage and client relationships in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in managing customer relationships, ideally with digital personalities and influencers.
  • Understanding of the platforms within YouTube's competitive landscape and the content creation process.
  • Knowledge of and passion for the YouTube creator ecosystem.
  • Ability to achieve stretch goals through strategic planning and effective execution.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop individualized growth strategies for a portfolio of YouTube creators, focusing on audience development, content optimization, and maximizing business opportunities.
  • Analyze channel performance data to identify growth opportunities and provide actionable recommendations, leveraging YouTube Analytics effectively.
  • Foster strong relationships with creators, maintaining open communication to understand their goals and challenges.
  • Guide creators on best practices for YouTube business generation, including Ad business and alternative business generation products (channel memberships, super chat/stickers, shopping, etc.).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver workshops, webinars, and resources that address creator needs.
